In my last hosting plan I was not given the amount of time and dedication that my website deserved hence I moved but with HostGator things are different. I just have one doubt but. Why are you guys not available 24/7? Is this a problem for you all? Me and my team call you at IST but still there are problems?

I have tried to get in touch with your support but they are very slow and really irritating. It is almost like waiting in a queue for many hours. If you have the support team available which you claim that you do, how can I avail their help if they are not there 24/7 as you promise? How can I rely on you guys then?

Hosting is not worth the price I am shelling month on month. Let me explain, you servers are down most of the times so that really does not make sense to us, especially when you promise 99.9% of uptime. Your downtime is far too long and we have to wait till it comes up. For a dedicated server, this service is highly shady and unusual.
I am content with the other services you provide and that is what is keeping me with you but you need to take this uptime aspect seriously if you want to have more customer.

Not a very good service when it comes to interacting with their team that serves my account. I feel they are always busy. Please understand customers are the ones who pay you the money!
I like their hosting and the uptime their plan for VPS that is providing me. Pricing could be more fair, support resolves problems but their other part of the service, when we asked about questions related to our account, they take time and end up confusing us. Finally I had to read on Google to get my answers.
Features are good, and panel is user friendly. But pdefinitely need to work of the factors mentioned above.

Expensive for managed VPS service with given features
I feel the hosting service is good but honestly, not worth the money given the features and plans. It feels over priced to me. I went for a managed VPS for my business site only because I wanted to focus more on business priorities. But I don't think it is totally justifying the spent money.
The worst hosting I have ever used. Don't buy hosting from host gator. Especially hosting in bulk for more than 1 year. I'm sure you will be not satisfied with their hosting. They have 45 days return policy. But what after 45 days? I have purchased hosting for 2 years. Before purchase, I have asked their sales executive that my site will need hosting to handle the following things. I have mentioned my point. They told me that yes sir go with 2 years. You will not fetch any issues. After purchase, I have hosted 5 sites on hosting. For few months my all sites are running fine with good performance. Now 3 months passed. My server speed goes down day by day. My one site goes close. So it does not have any visitors. I have migrated my 2 big sites to another hosting in hope that my 2 sites get good performance. But nop. My 2 sites are not running smooth. Even sometimes the server is taking 20+ seconds to respond. I have tested in GTMetrix. I have reached host gator support. They told me that I need to optimize my website. I have done that. Again same issue. They now told me that I have to optimize my database. I have done that as well. But still the same issue. Now they told me that my website is reaching per hour database connection limit. No one has mentioned this thing while making a purchase. I have asked for all limitations but no one has mentioned this. Now they are saying to go with the VPS plan. What host gator want is, just when a customer buys hosting in bulk, after some time forces him to update to VPS by decreasing the current resources.

As a web dev consultant, I have said and maintained that performance is key. HostGator India doesn't disappoint when it comes to uptime, bandwidth, security(free SSL), and even data recovery with CodeGuard. I only found their pricing a bit on the high side but to be honest they are worth the buck because the brand name of HostGator is big and they are trustworthy.
Glad we chose the Snappy plan for VPS from HostGator India. I can definitely say that I will move on to their better plans as soon as things work out for my clients. From today's perspective, it is a good decision to choose a custom plan with Hostgator India. We've made a lot of changes in the past, but we couldn't match in terms of uptime and maintenance. Have a lot of scope for improvement in terms of pricing because plans are a little expensive but the brand is trustworthy because support is helpful..
