Based on my experience to date (obviously that's all I can base it one) - I have a number of shared hosting plans (multiple websites). I've tried a few different hosts over the years and NetVirtue have been far and away the best. They are very responsive with support issues, generally stable (occasional downtime but usually fixed rapidly) and I've had no cause for complaint. They certainly offer extremely good value for money and I don't hesitate to recommend them.
I used to love these guys. I referred so many clients to them due to the incredible service. Sadly, in the last 12-months that has just died a fast hard death. There servers are slow ... yet they maintain that it is the website and plugins, even with developers saying it was undoubtedly the server. I changed to siteground - and the page speed improved significantly. I had an old site - hosting and domain, though really only used it for the email. I was going to move this across to siteground too ... realised that my hosting wasn't there, contacted them ... they realised that while the website was working and it was still hosted there, I just didn't have access to it from my own account ... and that they hadn't billed me (which was all automatic) - and so hit me up with a bill for 2-years. I wasn't happy at all ... I could have eaten it, had they offered a half decent service ... but like I said, that has long gone. They are arrogant and rude and very very unhelpfuly.
Id rather wipe my ass with lawn seed than use this stank server. Unable to upload a 65kb file to server, constant 503 errors,when just updating a wordpress page. If i had a choice of using this server, or eating a plate of raw salmon everyday for a week, id hoover that salmon down in no time. Dont waste your time.
I've been with NetVirtue for around 6 years and they've never let me down. Their support is absolutely fantastic, always receive a response quickly - and they just know what they're doing so all issues are sorted very quickly. Sometimes we do see the odd issue with website performance which is inevitable in the world of shared hosting. I've noticed these issues never last more than an hour.
I have been with NetVirtue for over 5 years and I can say that these guys are legit. If you are after the CHEAPEST hosting in the market, then NetVirtue might not be a good fit, however, if you are value QUALITY SERVICE and UPTIME then NetVirtue is the for you.
I have found that the guys at NetVirtue go above and beyond in order to offer a great customer experience. Highly recommended.
They illegally copy websites, customer support is WORST, they claim it 24/7 customer support, No they are not. Online live chat guy is so rude. NetVirtue performance of their servers has gone downhill. Reliability is a massive issue. Wouldn't recommend at all. Should have option to give 0 Stars.
Terrible company who flout the law and refuse to follow DMCA/copyright guidelines
One of our websites has been illegally copied on to servers hosted by Net Virtue, with the "spoofed" website claiming to be from our legitimate company.
Net Virtue have been totally unhelpful in resolving the issue, and have even ignored multiple submissions under DMCA to remove the content, blatantly breaking the law.
When pushed further and questioned, they simply decided to go quiet on us, and now appear to refuse to respond.
Awful service from a host that acts illegally. Avoid at all costs.
Of course you have no customer by my name, my review is about how you are hosting illegally hosted copyrighted content of MY website on YOUR servers! That isn't a website hosted by me, that is a website made by someone else that YOU are hosting, which infringes my copyright.
Even with a DMCA takedown request, which legally you must abide by, you took no action. I am currently having to go through getting a court order just to get you to listen. Unacceptable.
None of my statements are fabricated. I will happily provide evidence in the form of public legal documents once filed.
We host tens of thousands of websites.... we have no time or care to 'copy' someones website.
If you filled in a DCMA request and sent it to abuse@netvirtue.com.au it will be actioned providing it is correct and valid. Feel free to show me your ticket ID or email abuse@ again and we can follow up.
I looked through all our abuse requests in the last 30 days, and we didn't have any that weren't actioned.
