I used this service as my client already had another domain there, the first year deal was exceptional but the user experience is a disaster. It lacks
... the features of a real domain service and as I'm willing to pay for a quality European service I initiated a domain transfer to Netim a service I'm consolidating all mine and my client's domains to. Its pricey at 20 EUR a year renewal but fantastic UX with great privacy features.
This transfer could only be initiated by getting into contact with support, submitting a form, following up with support, submitting personal ID and making a payment, THEN submitting a form DOCUMENT that has to be scanned and uploaded.
Small print be damned, Domena forced me to pay a full year renewal fee as the cancellation of contract due to the "First year promotion" and the renewal price is 40 EUR per year! What a scam of a service.
For comparison the other services I migrated from had 1 button click to receive transfer auth codes and no transfer fees.
