I have exhausted my patience with the domain support.
I have dozens of domain names on hostgator, until yesterday March 31,

2021 one of my websites on a different server provider for some reason went offline. It is still offline as of April 2nd 2021. When I tried to access my website it showed error "DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem."
All of my websites' domains were registered using Hostgator. But I rent dedicated server from a different hosting provider that I am very satisfied with to run all those websites from. All websites have Private nameservers that are working perfectly, have similar settings etc. But this one that I registered a month ago went offline for no obvious reason or change of setting on my side. I did not change anything as everything was perfectly functioning.
At first I thought that was a server issue, not Hostgator where my domain was. So i contacted hosting support describing the issue.
When they did their testing they told me there was no issue on server side and that the issue with DNS error had to be debugged by hostgator fixing the glue records.
I contacted Hostgator support explaining the issue and providing the reply from my hosting provider support. They did some tests as they assured me and said it has to be fixed on server side.
I went back to contact the server support telling them they have to fix it as hosgator insisted they did not see any problem with the domain.
The hosting support provided me with more evidence, test results to help me see what the problem was and that Hosgator had to fix that.
I contacted hostgator again and send them all copies of technical test results I received from the hosting provider. They told me they checked everything but the still insisted again the issue had to be fixed by the hosting providers. I felt like a soccer ball they kicked me here and there and did not want to dig more to debug the issue having the results they should come up with on their own but they were too lazy and not willing to help and fix the issue. I contacted them 6 times. The last time I sent them even more test results in chat. I was assured the issue was located and they have escalated the issue to a senior admin or something. They asked for my hosting provider support email to contact them and fix the issue. I did provide them what they asked for. Also they assured me that since the issue was located I had to wait only max 4 hours until my website would be alive again. I waited 8 hours. Nothing had changed. The website was still offline.
I was sure they were playing with me and lied all the time. So I contacted my hosting support to see if they could help me do something else about it.
After that I decided to transfer all my domains from Hostgator as I was done with them lying all the time.
Now I am in the process of transferring my domains to my current hosting provider who have never let me down and was very prompt to solve issues and always walked extra mile with me. They deserve my money.
I do not recommend Hostgator. Their support is outsourced to people who have zero respect or care about you being their income source/client. Every time they contact me they say something we had discussed previously as if I never talked about it with them. I do not want to deal with Hostgator and have my online business killed by Hostgator outsourced stuff.
